Venky Do's another remake ?

Bandla Ganesh has bagged the remake rights of Malayalam blockbuster, Two Countries. When the news broke out of this remake so many names have came on to the board. But finally this film has landed in Venkatesh's hands. Venky will be reprising the role of Dileep from the original.

So it would be another remake for Venkatesh who is doing many remakes lately. He is currently busy with Maurthi's Babu Bangaram that is slated for release in May. Director and heroine are yet to be finalized. Two Countries is one of the biggest hits of Malayalam cinema in recent times. Dileep and Mamata Mohandas played the lead roles in it. Bandla offered a fancy rate for bagging these rights. Bandla's team says this is the biggest amount ever offered to any Malayalam film by a Telugu producer. The complete details of the star cast in this remake project will be announced very soon.
