India’s brave soldier, Lance Naik Hanamanthappa, who survived the Siachen avalanche passed away on Thursday in Delhi.The condition of Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad, the Siachen braveheart who defied death for six days buried under snow, had worsened today morning and the soldier went into deep coma before he passed away.Hanamanthappa was evacuated by a helicopter from the site of the avalanche that hit his post on Siachen Glacier before being shifted to Delhi.Nine other personnel at the post, including a Junior Commissioned Officer , of Madras Regiment have died when avalanche hit Indian army post in Siachen.
