Police filed 63 cases in violent incidents that took place during Kapu Garjana which was organised at Tuni in East Godavari district. Police named Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham as main accused in FIR in all incidents. Cases were also registered against YSRCP leader Botcha Satyanarayana, Former Union Minister Pallam Raju, BJP leader Kanna Laxminarayana and Congress leader Vatti Vasanth Kumar. Police also identified 300 suspects, who were behind torching of train, vehicles and police stations.
