Super star Rajnikanth’s upcoming movie “Kabali” is nearing its completion. Right now, the movie shoot is happening in Malaysia and it will continue till end of February. Business of this movie started long back and Rajnikanth is continuing his form with out leaving any second thoughts to the distributors and buyers all over. Even though his last movie Linga failed completely at Box-office, there’s no effect on Kabali business.Overseas rights of both Tamil and Telugu languages were acquired for a whooping 8.5 crores. This is a record price for any South Indian bilingual in overseas.
Rajnikanth is having huge fan base in countries like Japan, Singapore, Hongkong, Malaysia etc, these rights will also go for huge prices. Director Pa Ranjith is very confident on the movie and Producer Kalaipuli S Thanu is planning to release movie on May 1st in both Telugu, Tamil languages. Music director Santosh Narayan is busy with lyricists Chandrabose, Anantha Sriram and Siri Vennela for Telugu version songs. Radhika Apte is acting as heroine beside Rajnikanth.
